We really enjoyed the hospitality of host and beauty of Dubrovnik, Hvala gospoÄi i njezinim kÄerima,The facility is located on a residential hill with street access, but also with lovely narrow stair passages towards the Gruž district, There was a very small shop almost sharing the entrance with the facility, You could see the locals riding their scooters in the neighborhood, It didn',t have this posh vibe which was characteristic for the Old Town district, We very enjoyed this kind of setting,\r\n\r\nThe apartment had a terrace oriented to the north, You could see Mt, SrÄ and the northern hill where Adriatic Domestic Road goes through, The facilities such as cable car station and Homeland War Museum were clearly seen, The room had quite enough space, everything was clean,\r\n\r\nA central crossroads in the city is located 200m from the apartment, This junction is in the middle between Gruž, Lapad and Old Town district, It was 20 minutes of walk to the Old Town and port in the Gruž, Gruž has high concentration of bigger shops, banks, hairdressers, affordable restaurants etc, It was good to go there for groceries and some cheap coffee ,) Ships to the Elaphite Islands start their way from the Gruž port, We took a 1-day trip to the Islands and consider it a must-be experience,\r\n\r\nBellevue beach is 200m from the facility, but we didn',t like it since it was too posh, We liked the Uvala Beach in Lapad district which is 1 km from the apartment, There starts a promenade on the perimeter of the Babin Kuk peninsula, It has nice vibe and some restaurants with beautiful views, View of TuÄman',s Bridge from the trail on the NE part of Babin Kuk was also astounding,\r\n\r\nThe house owner was very hospitable and she gave us a homemade wine as a gift, She didn',t speak good English, but her 2 daughters were co-responsible for the facility (from whom 1 of them lives in Zagreb and assisted via phone/,WhatsApp and the other one who lives in the facility) so they helped a lot, Also a friend-family of the owner rented a room in the facility and they were very nice and hospitable,

Wir haben die Gastfreundschaft des Gastgebers und die Schönheit von Dubrovnik wirklich genossen. Die Lage des Hotels und die Umgebung. Die Anlage befindet sich auf einem Wohnhügel mit Zugang von der Straße, aber auch mit schönen, schmalen Treppenübergängen zum Stadtteil Gruž. Es gab einen sehr kleinen Laden, der sich fast den Eingang mit der Anlage teilte. Man konnte die Einheimischen in der Nachbarschaft mit ihren Motorrollern fahren sehen. Es hatte nicht diese vornehme Atmosphäre, die für die Altstadt charakteristisch ist. Wir haben diese Art von Umgebung sehr genossen. \r\n\r\nDie Wohnung hatte eine nach Norden ausgerichtete Terrasse. Man konnte den Berg SrÄ und den nördlichen Hügel sehen, durch den die Adriatische Inlandsstraße verläuft. Die Einrichtungen wie die Seilbahnstation und das Heimatkriegsmuseum waren deutlich zu sehen. Das Zimmer hatte ausreichend Platz, alles war sauber. \r\n\r\nEine zentrale Kreuzung in der Stadt befindet sich 200 m von der Wohnung entfernt. Diese Kreuzung liegt in der Mitte zwischen Gruž, Lapad und der Altstadt. Es war 20 Minuten zu Fuß zur Altstadt und zum Hafen in Gruž. Gruž hat eine hohe Konzentration an größeren Geschäften, Banken, Friseuren, günstigen Restaurants usw. Es war gut, dort Lebensmittel einzukaufen und billigen Kaffee zu trinken.) Schiffe zu den Elaphiten-Inseln legen vom Hafen in Gruž ab. Wir haben einen Tagesausflug zu den Inseln gemacht und halten das für ein absolutes Muss.\r\n\r\nDer Strand Bellevue ist 200 m von der Anlage entfernt, aber er hat uns nicht gefallen, da er zu vornehm war. Uns hat der Strand Uvala im Bezirk Lapad gefallen, der 1 km von der Wohnung entfernt ist. Dort beginnt eine Promenade am Rande der Halbinsel Babin Kuk. Sie hat eine nette Atmosphäre und einige Restaurants mit schöner Aussicht. Der Blick auf die Tučman-Brücke vom Wanderweg im nordöstlichen Teil von Babin Kuk war auch erstaunlich.\r\n\r\nDer Hausbesitzer war sehr gastfreundlich und Sie hat uns selbstgemachten Wein geschenkt. Sie sprach kein gutes Englisch, aber ihre beiden Töchter waren für die Einrichtung mitverantwortlich (eine von ihnen lebt in Zagreb und half per Telefon, WhatsApp und die andere lebt in der Einrichtung), also haben sie sehr geholfen. Auch eine befreundete Familie des Eigentümers hatte ein Zimmer in der Einrichtung gemietet und sie waren sehr nett und gastfreundlich.
